This is a remote, part-time service and support position built for someone who loves people and thrives in a fast-paced but relationship-focused environment. You'll be the voice clients hear when they call, the hands that keep the agency running, and — when the moment is right — the person who helps a client realize they need just a little more coverage to protect what matters most.
This is not a high-pressure sales role. But if you're licensed and sharp, you'll naturally find opportunities to round out accounts, mention life insurance, or ask for a referral — and we'll celebrate you for it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Handle inbound client calls and service requests with professionalism and warmth
• Process policy changes — adding vehicles, updating coverages, managing endorsements
• Perform back-office and administrative tasks including electronic filing and documentation
• Follow up on pending items, renewals, and outstanding client needs
• Identify opportunities to mention additional coverages or life insurance in natural conversation
• Request referrals and help maintain strong client relationships
• Cover agency operations when the agent is unavailable (key for continuity)
WHAT YOU BRING
• Required: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license — required
• Preferred: Previous State Farm experience strongly preferred — you'll hit the ground running
• Customer service excellence — we mean Chick-fil-A level, every call, every time
• Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Self-accountability and the ability to manage your own workflow remotely
• Comfort with insurance agency software and digital tools
• A team-player mindset, even in a small operation — your success is our success
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION
• 25–30 hours per week, with occasional flexibility during busy periods
• $18–$19 per hour, commensurate with experience and licensure
• 100% remote — work from anywhere in the United States
• Consistent schedule with some flexibility; exact hours TBD
